What I believe is what I will see
bending my future til it's on it's knees
what I fear in the rearview mirror..
as if running will protect me, at a pace I can't keep
It's painting my picture, framing the scene
finishing my sentence and blaming me.
It's sitting on my chest, pulling on my heart
sending panic to my bloodstream til I play the part.
Did I separate my body from my mind?
My mind is what I'm living through all of the time.
I'm riddled with confusion. I'm lost out at sea.
I'm torn in all directions hopelessly.
It's repeating like an echo until it's all i know.
Exhausted by the effort then dragged by the undertow.
Did I separate my body from my mind?
My mind is what I'm living through all of the time.
Am I hesitating or waiting to be wise?
What am I moving like stopping is a crime?
So it's day by day
til you find a way
take it day by day by day.
Day by day by day.
